It's nice to meet you!

Hello! My name is Meghan Brennan and I am the Co-Founder of Fernfully Farm. I began my career at one of the world’s largest consumer packaged goods companies and spent 10 years climbing the corporate ladder in various Sales and Marketing leadership roles. At the same time, my partner and I were also developing our homesteading skills and utilizing newly acquired soil science knowledge (through University of Guelph) on our half-acre lot in Southern Ontario with gardens, chickens, and bee hives.

During this time, I discovered that nothing made me happier than working on our homestead and sharing what we do with others. I realized my purpose lay outside the corporate world, where I could leverage my professional skills to turn my homestead passion into a comprehensive small-scale farm based around regenerative practices and build a business. And so, two years ago, I said goodbye to my first chapter and embarked on a new one....Ferngully Farm.

In the winter of 2022, we purchased a 66-acre farm just outside of Creemore and began building our farm and business plan. Our farming philosophy is centered around regenerative practices which grounds every decision we make. From no-till organic gardening, to incorporating our animals in our pest management and land improvement plans, we have dedicated ourselves to nourishing the land and our family.

Our vision is to work hand in hand with Mother Nature to create a biodynamic ecosystem that gives back as much as it takes from the earth and to share learnings with others who have similar goals.

While laying the groundwork for our regenerative farm, I have also been developing plans to offer hands-on farm experiences to our community & beyond. There is a growing desire to enjoy back-to-the land experiences and acquire a deeper understanding of where and how our food is grown.  By offering personal, hands-on Farm Experiences and Farm Stays, we hope to inspire others to learn more about the food they eat and its impact on our planet.  Learning and growing together, we can build a better tomorrow.
